Prior to joining D2C, Mr. Garbato served as an FBI Special Agent for 23 years, holding various roles in the FBI Miami Division, including field agent, SWAT team member, and field supervisor. He also completed multiple assignments at FBI Headquarters, including serving on FBI Director Mueller’s staff and as a senior leader in the FBI’s Training Division, where he managed leadership and executive development programs.

Mr. Garbato completed the U.S. Army War College Senior Leader Seminar and earned a master’s degree in strategic studies during a sabbatical at the Marine Corps War College. Before retiring, he served as the FBI Chair for Marine Corps University.

A native of New York, he graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in business logistics and has ten years of private-sector experience in operations and logistics. A retired U.S. Army Reserve officer, he served in various roles, including Mechanized Infantry, Ordnance, Armor, and Petroleum Supply.

Mr. Garbato is married and has two children.
