Director Daniels has dedicated over 32 years to the Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), rising from a young officer in 1992 to making history as the first woman to serve as Director. Leading over 5,000 employees, she has navigated the challenges of a male-dominated field with resilience, emphasizing mentorship, community engagement, and trust-building.

Her leadership has spanned multiple divisions, providing her with a deep understanding of law enforcement. She has championed initiatives such as the Youth Outreach Unit and computer-for-guns programs while also training and mentoring future leaders. Recognized for her professionalism and dedication, Director Daniels remains committed to serving and strengthening her community.
