Why D2C?: To do my part, helping raise humanities awareness to higher consciousness.

Vincent O’Banner is the vice president of law enforcement initiatives and programming for D2C. He brings to his work nearly three decades of experience as a member of the Greenwich (CT) Police Department. In his law enforcement career, Vinny held a variety of roles, including serving as a detective assigned to the federal Drug Enforcement Agency task force and being an advocate and leader for community youth. He co-founded the Greenwich Flag Football League with police colleagues in 2007 as well as initiated programs to provide bicycles, computers and charitable gifts to families in need.

A certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Vinny is also trained in crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, defense tactics, narcotics investigations and interrogation techniques. He is a graduate of the University of New Haven Tow Youth Justice Institute Leadership Cohort, and trains others in implicit bias.
